The snag-free, semi-flexible housing provides a super snug, protective glove around your camera, while still allowing FULL ACCESS to ALL buttons, screens, displays, and status indicator lights.* The LoProMoFo's base follows the EXACT contour of your helmet's curves for maximum and secure adhesion via VBH tape, becoming one unit with your helmet, without the need to drill any holes.

Of course, the camera housing can also be completely removed from helmet / base for travel or hitting the wind tunnel...leaving a snag-free base that's ready to fly without worries. Camera angle / tilt adjustment can easily be achieved by slightly loosening the recessed stainless steel screws at the base with included  key,  then re-tightening screws so that they are once again snug. 
 
Warning: Insta360's own product description states that the "ONE RS 1-inch 360 is NOT intended for extreme action scenarios.  If you're looking for a more rugged, waterproof, and action-friendly 360 camera, try our Insta360 X3!"  This camera is heavy, and the much larger lenses protruding further away from your head's center of mass significantly increases the forces your cervical spine will experience in all high speed scenarios. You will be using this product understanding that it is NOT meant to be used in high speed envirotnment (skydiving/ BASE / paragliding), and if you do, you do so at your own risk. Cage or Sleeve....which do I want? The SLEEVE variant is recommended for this camera because it offers reduced helmet drag when jumping with the camara inside the housing, and significantly reduced clearance AND drag when the camera is NOT inside the housing. The cage variant is only being offered because inevitably there will be those who will not trust that their camera can be kept safe without the need to completely wrap around the camera. As with ALL other Adrenaline Workshop camera mounts, NOTHING extra is needed to keep that camera in place, with either version. That means no bands, straps, bungees, thoughts, or prayers are needed... simply place the camera completely inside the housing, and you're ready to rage.

* In order to maximize the structural integrity of the camera housing, the USB-C charging port is NOT accessible with the camera inside the housing. However, the camera can be removed from the housing with minimal effort for this purpose without needing to screw/unscrew anything.
